A Smart Home system can differ in definition from one individual to another, here at Strand this does not mean a series of App based systems all operating autonomously, but a solution that provides ease of use and flexibility through combining systems into one control system. For instance, an integrated system can include, but is not limited to; lighting control, door entry systems, climate control, CCTV, multi-room audio & video, window blinds and more, all of which can be controlled from a single app on your chosen device from wherever you are. Through the press of single button the environment can be altered in a room in an instance; adjusting the lighting, igniting the fireplace, setting the temperature, closing the blinds, and starting a movie, the options are endless.
While many may be concerned about using a single control system to bring together each service within a building, the key is integration and flexibility. While systems can be integrated and work best when employed in this way, generally systems are also designed to be used autonmously in their own right in addition. This approach provides ease of use and the maximum functionality while offering reassurance that one system is not soley reliant on another.
